THE FOUNDERS

<strong>MAC/MACOSA</strong> (ICY)

MAC/MACOSA (ICY)

Mac was born in 1967 and raised in Southwest Philadelphia. He starting writing graffiti at the age of 14. During high school Mac developed his unique angular and minimalist style based on geometry And cubism. He then went on to study visual communications & design at Tyler School of Art. He then went on to study visual communications & design At Tyler School of Art. In later years he co-founded a design agency Xhilarate.

<strong>SEMET</strong> (DFR/ICY)

SEMET (DFR/ICY)

Semet was born in 1970 and raised in southwest Philadelphia. The city’s graffiti streets became his inspiration catalyst. Known as “Semet one” in Philadelphia and around the world, he developed a love affair with graffiti that continues to be seen in his work. John is proud to present his version of Philly graffiti art with cubism in abstract forms.
